To be clear since a few people aren’t getting it, this is an edit referencing an idiom. The idiom says that if you slowly increase the temperature you can boil (and kill) a frog without it noticing.The idea being it acclimates over time. An article about how your body can build up tolerance to heat listed under CLIMATE SOLUTIONS is ridiculous. This is part of an ongoing gaslighting campaign by media overall to make people think climate change (specifically global warming) is not a big deal. No amount of “getting used to it over time” will help disabled people on medications that lower heat tolerance. And if this continues people will die.

ok so I’ve been thinking about it and we know there’s deleted scenes in mutant mayhem for needing to pg up this movie (like some of the storyboards have come out) but I think there’s totally a scene or shot when superfly gives his backstory missing cuz I’m 100% sure he murdered the guy that chased down him and the mutants in front of them right?

Like they animated that sequence but stopped it short, then he tells the turtles he beat him to an inch of his life but that reaction shot with the ketchup blood spray looks more like he originally said he murdered him, and matches the tone of that scene better. It would then extra explain why later when the turtles turn against him all the other mutants were like “kids stop and turn the car around or else he’s gonna be REALLY mad” cuz they’ve seen him fucking murder someone. Like the implications of their first outing to the human world ending with superfly beating a man to death in an alley in front of the siblings he raised would absolutely make them more afraid of him and unwilling to question him.

Also adds to the juxtaposition between him and splinter there where splinter ran cuz keeping his kids safe was more important than letting out his aggression about the world that’s always hated him, vs superfly who you know, murdered a man in front of his own family.

Really wish they had a higher rating so we got to see the darker tone in scenes like that
